Jessica Carrillo-Guerrerro LCPC
Jessica Carrillo-Guerrero is a bilingual, trauma informed Latina therapist and wellness advocate. As a Latina with indigenous roots, first born generation in the United States, and proud daughter of Mexican Immigrants, she has dedicated the last 20 years to community based non-profit work in hopes of creating access to resources and mental health services to those in highest need. Jessica is a licensed clinical professional councilor with experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges. She specializes in trauma, anxiety, and depression, and is passionate about empowering her clients to live their best lives. In addition to talk therapy, Jessica offers mindfulness-based approaches, EMDR and other holistic techniques to promote well-being. She is the founder of Soluna Wellness Center, and resolute in helping bridge the social and economic barriers to making services accessible to everyone.
Jana Gillespe LCSW
Jana is a trauma therapist with over 15 years in working with high need and difficult to reach communities. While she works with clients from a variety of cultural and ethnic and lived experiences a large majority of her career has been spent providing services to youth who have experienced and/or witnessed family and community violence. Jana is a firm believer in creating open, inclusive, and compassionate therapeutic spaces. She specializes in trauma-informed therapy with a strengths-based approach, with a passion for empowering individuals with marginalized identities to navigate life's challenges.
For over 12 years, Carlos has supported young people in celebrating their authentic selves and creating space for healing. He believes in supporting individuals to act in alignment with their core values and strengthen the roots for self-love.
Carlos specializes in helping young people overcome anxiety, fear and low self-esteem, depression, codependency, and unhealthy relationships. As an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist Carlos aims to serve as a support for empowerment through self-discovery, self-acceptance and skill-building. He takes a collaborative approach with an anti-oppressive and trauma-informed lens. Additionally, he uses his professional coaching skills to help clients move from self-empowered to self-actualized.
Madalyn is a compassionate and dedicated therapist who is committed to social justice and identity exploration. With her unique perspective as a biracial woman, she understands the complexities of navigating multiple cultural identities. Madalyn specializes in helping individuals and communities find their voices and strengthen their resilience. Her therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in cultural competence and a nuanced understanding of intersectionality. Madalyn provides a safe and affirming space for clients to explore their identities, address issues related to systemic inequality, and work through personal challenges with a focus on empowerment and social change.
Jen is a Chicago native who embodies the city's spirit of hard work and dedication. A mother, advocate, and strong supporter for women and girls, Jen brings a wealth of experience and passion to everything she does. Always drawn to self-care, particularly skincare, Jen turned her passion into a career in 2016. Recognizing the impact we have on others, Jen strives to radiate positivity and create a rejuvenating experience for her clients. She personalizes skincare regimens, incorporating holistic cleanses to leave clients feeling energized and ready to conquer anything. Jen honed her skills at various studios before opening her dream business, Dollywood, in 2020. Although forced to close due to the pandemic, Jen's entrepreneurial spirit remains undimmed. When not working, Jen dedicates her time to supporting women and girls through non-profit and community programs, ensuring access to self-care and wellness for all.
Meet Gabriela Jasso, a Mexican immigrant who takes pride in her roots and culture. She's been a certified Hatha and Vinyasa yoga instructor since 2019, and recently added another certification to her list by becoming a certified kids yoga instructor with Kids Around Yoga (KAY) in 2022. Gabriela's journey as a yoga instructor over the past 5 years has been all about creating a community through the practice of yoga and collaborating with different organizations to promote well-being in their communities. She's a true inspiration and ready to build community with you.
