Jessica is a Latina, first-generation Mexican American queer woman, who deeply understands the intersections of identity. With over 20 years of experience in community-based mental health, Jessica brings a wealth of knowledge, cultural awareness, and compassion to her practice.
As the founder of Soluna, she is committed to uplifting her community by promoting access to mental health care and supporting those working to create meaningful change. She views wellness as a holistic journey that integrates mind, body, and soul, guiding her clients toward harmony and balance in all aspects of their lives.
In her practice Jessica collaborates with her clients to co-create a personalized blueprint for the lives they envision. She focuses on identifying what brings value and joy while addressing and releasing barriers that stand in the way of their growth. Grounded in her belief in resilience, empowerment, and the interconnectedness of well-being, Soluna offers a space where clients can thrive.

Patsy Thayieng LCSW
Patsy is a first-generation Hmong American woman who brings a deep sensitivity to the unique challenges faced by immigrant, indigenous, and refugee communities. She understands that healing is rarely linear and is often shaped by the cross-cultural, systemic, and intergenerational factors that impact our daily well-being. With a heart rooted in social justice, Patsy’s work is grounded in solidarity, compassion, and the belief that every individual deserves a space where they can feel safe and empowered.
With extensive experience working with children, Patsy specializes in using play and creativity as powerful tools for connection and self-expression. She takes a holistic, trauma-informed, and person-centered approach, collaborating closely with her clients—both youth and adults—to foster resilience from within.
Patsy utilizes CBT and DBT to help affirm personal truths and navigate negative thought patterns. To treat the whole person, she also integrates somatic and art therapy techniques into her practice, offering creative and body-based ways to process and heal. She is particularly passionate about supporting queer and LGBTQ+ youth, providing a nurturing environment where they can explore their identities and build strength. Patsy earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Augsburg University and her Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago.

Roberto Valle LPC
As the firstborn son of a firstborn son of a firstborn son, Roberto honors a lineage of Puerto Rican fathers who each dreamed of something greater for the next generation. The first in his family to attend college, he has spent his life helping others navigate challenge, growth, and transformation. Roberto supports individuals experiencing life transitions. He creates a supportive, grounded space for his clients to reconnect with their inner strength, clarify their path, and move forward with purpose. His style is relational, empowering, and infused with moments of humor and lightness—because healing doesn’t always have to be heavy.
Roberto brings over a decade of experience in education and counseling, including work at Northeastern Illinois University and as a Professional School Counselor with Chicago Public Schools. These roles deepened his skills in guidance, advocacy, and helping people access their potential.
He has also facilitated numerous Fire Circle Ceremonies and values the healing power of community, storytelling, and reflection. While he’s an amateur magician, Roberto believes the real magic lies in authentic connection and walking alongside others as they grow into who they’re meant to be.

Ericka Soto, LCPC, ICDVP, PATP
Ericka is a Mexican-American therapist deeply committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and culturally competent space where every individual feels seen and valued. She understands that navigating life’s complexities is rarely easy, and she approaches her practice as a non-judgmental conduit for positive change. Ericka believes that true growth often comes from embracing discomfort and redefining what serves us—whether that means setting firm boundaries or shifting our inner perspective to honor our authentic selves.
With a clinical foundation rooted in extensive work with survivors of Domestic Violence and Intimate Partner Violence (IPV), Ericka specializes in helping individuals heal from intergenerational trauma. She is passionate about supporting those navigating PTSD, depression, anxiety, and a loss of identity, guiding them as they re-establish self-esteem and build healthy relationships. Her work is centered on meeting clients exactly where they are, acknowledging the deep connection between mind and body.
Ericka’s primary approach is Person-Centered Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and she also incorporates specialized training in Art Therapy, she integrates art as a core modality, offering creative avenues for exploration and healing. She works collaboratively with her clients to address the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that shape their lives, helping them heal from external impacts and define a path toward a more empowered and fulfilled future.
